Ian Mundy is a Chartered Geologist with nearly 40 years of experience in the extractive minerals industry.
Over the course of his career, Ian has held a range of senior geological management roles within one of the UK’s leading aggregate companies, working across multiple regions of England.
He has built a deep understanding of the nature and distribution of aggregate resources throughout the UK, having personally located and evaluated more than 5,000 prospect sites, and overseen detailed mineral investigations on over 1,000 of them.
For the past nine years, Ian has played a key role in the greenfield development of future mineral resources. His work has been instrumental in identifying and securing high-potential sites for long-term strategic development.
Ian maintains strong, long-standing relationships with the UK’s leading drilling contractors, enabling him to quickly assemble and manage the right teams for any type of aggregate deposit investigation.
His extensive knowledge, practical experience, and trusted industry connections make Ian a uniquely capable partner in mineral prospecting, evaluation, and pre-development planning.
